Hello Hivers ππ,
Miss planting is very common here in West Africa Nigeria and in some other parts of the world which brings a lot into the community, the nation at large. This is what I mean. When you do a lot of analysis on so many food we eat at this present time you will see that it must likely to be at the top edge of carbohydrates which will later break down in to starch and some other components to be useful to the body. Just also as the case may be when it comes to the farm animals.
The most top component of the Poultry feed is carbohydrate which is mainly source from the maize π½π½ or cereal group family. And to the best of my knowledge this cereal is likely to be in abundant during the rainy season and also in dry season but it most cases people go for cereal planting during the rainy season. During this rainy season there is also some good and bad that come along with maize farming. One of them is the existence of the termite. For several times this type of destruction has been recorded due to the constant and regular occurrence on the Maize π½π½ Farm Production. When you plant your maize crop it may come along with this type of negative effect which letter show up when your planted crops has reach a very good height of production. These are some of what I just said earlier on about termite fighting and destroying the maize Farm.
This is why when you want to do your proper survey before you start planting any type of seed you may always need to consult any farmer around to give you a maximum account of the soil formation over the planted crops. Sometimes even when you plant crops you like cassava or yam the termite will always come visit them and eat them up.
One of the other factors that always disturb most farmers during the rainy season and the dry season when you plant crops such as maize π½π½, Guinea corn, Millet, πΎπΎ and carrot π₯π₯π₯ is also cereal birds. I called them cereal birds because they always fly in group to attack Farm plantation.
As soon as all this flying birds observe and notice that you planted Maize π½π½ for example for more than 3 months they will keep visiting your farm till they move more closer to feed on them all. So if care is not taking you will lose all your farm plantation.
The fact that this Birds keep on visiting the farm makes it more difficult for farmers to have rest of mind in their Farm activities such as weeding. The more the attack is done the more reluctant the Farmer will be because the produce has been tampered with. You can see so many pictures of they already attacked produce maize π½π½.
What I noticed was that even to the smallest growing up corn. It was totally affected by eating up of the whole corn π½π½.
Just take for example and see to what extent they really destroyed this particular Maize π½π½.
Going into Maize π½π½π½π½ farming is very lucrative job but it also comes with a lot of challenges. Which if care is not taken your legs will be shaking out of agricultural mindset lifestyle.
I always find one lesson or the other during and after my own planting season. And this is that no matter how active you are as a farmer, you will always face One challenge or the other which will either bring you more creative skills to approach every problem to have a solution.
