Agriculture is cultivating natural resources to sustain human life and provide economic gain. It combines the creativity, imagination, and skill involved in planting crops and raising animals with modern production methods and new technologies. Farming is also a business that provides the global economy with commodities: basic goods used in commerce, such as grain, livestock, dairy, fiber, and raw materials for fuel.
Agriculture is poised to continue growth to meet the demand for food. Farming creates opportunities to lift people out of poverty in developing nations. Over 60 percent of the world’s working poor works in agriculture. It creates jobs, beginning with farmers, and continuing with farm equipment makers, food processing plants, transportation, infrastructure and manufacturing.
In my introductory post, I mentioned among other things that l love farming VERY MUCH. Is a PASSION I have since childhood. I have a small farm where I grow a lot of crops such scent leaf, tomatoes, pepper, okro, waterleaf, ukazi leaf and many others.

Maintenance
During dry season, I irrigate my farm so that the crops will not dry off due to hot and scorching weather. The pictures below shows the hard work and stress involved in farming. I wake up early like 4am in the morning to irritate my farm and afterwards pour manure on them. Sometimes I feel weak and tired, yet it gives me joy in knowing that I contribute in feeding my family and others as well. Hive lovers and friends please vote for me so that I can win.
