Having vegetables around us really helps a lot, especially when you need so spice your food and give a special scent or thirst.
The scent leave is a popularly known vegetable plant in Africa, Nigeria. The leave is used to prepare various dishes and gives it a flavour and thirst.
Adding this vegetables to your meat, pepper soup, indomie and other soups has so many health benefits as will be unfold. In general, it is essential for everyday life as long as we cook and perform domestic activities.
My mom brought this vegetable spice and covered it's roots with the soil in plastic bag exposing the shoots. Let's say the previous day, then the next morning I then transplanted it to our our little garden.
I covered the roots and the sand on the root under the soil and made sure the tip is up straight.
Until this day, (since three days ago) the plant is in good shape, in good hands and growing healthy
Ocimum Gratissimum is the Botanical name of Scent leafe. It ia also used in cases of treatment, irritation, herb, and mixed together with other leaves to cure various ailments.
Scent leafe can help you with stomach aches, diarrhea, bloating, dysentery, it is believed to reduce effects of fever and cure maleria. It also helps in quick digestion of food.
Little wonder parents add it in almost every meal.
In future time, this guy would turn into a little tree in the garden. Some parents also use this leafe after queezing out the fluid, to apply on knife cuts and open wounds.
