Aloe vera, also known by its scientific name Aloe barbadensis miller, has a very bitter taste, but it is widely used in cosmetics. One can either grind the fresh leaves and naturally add them to creams or use the extracts.
I have planted some in my yellow container and water it well every day. The plant looks green and fresh. You can see the thorns and markings on the leaves , it's really beautiful. As a mother one must have this plant in the house. Not for beautification but for the skin.
