Not only on POB but Hive in general, you can find hundreds of people who share more photos than text. Some people actually prefer to express themselves through photography.
Maybe they do this because they have a good camera or a great cell phone, and that way they share good photographic content. But, many of these people don't have an extraordinary camera and just want to talk about their day or about some experience they have and show it through their photos.
It's similar to what happens on Instagram or Twitter; a few words and photos to help them express what they are saying. But, there is a question in the air, since POB is not a community focused on photography: Is a few words and a lot of photos are a brain proof?
The project that most illustrates what I'm saying is #pobdaily but, notably, the votes for those who post every day using the tag are much lower than for those who produce content focused on text and some intellectual or funny theme.
I particularly believe that there needs to be creativity and a real desire to be here at Proof of Brain to be daily talking about your day or sharing some experience through photos and I believe that this should be more valued.
It's nice to see well-elaborated publications talking about complex topics that inform and educate us, but it's also nice to see light posts with photos that illustrate and share cultures different and distant from mine.
What is your opinion about this?
