Seven hours. This is how long Lex Fridman had a conversation with Balaji Srinivasan. I have never heard or have knowledge who Srinivasan till I came across a 15 minute snippet of the full conversation, for a brief discussion about bitcoin and crypto which led me to start listening to the full conversation.
I got hooked in the moment Fridman challenge me with their introduction of the conversation and a warning this conversation is not for the faint hearted. Not just because of its topics but also it is a seven hour conversation.
There are lots of moments within the video giving me insights or at the very least gotten an educated opinion on lots of things happening in the world, failings of institutions, freedom, and a whole host of topics that can occur between two people who do not stop discussing anything popping in their heads, laced with references.
