Last week, I shared some thoughts on how Claude Code has helped me save some time. I'm thankful to the fine folks who took time out of their day to comment on that post, particularly regarding the section titled, "A More Ambitious Project Centered on Hive."
In that section of the article, I discussed an app I created that allows me to reorganize my Hive posts in a 3-column magazine format. It looks something like this:
Now, I'm considering developing this idea a little further and publishing it to the Hive blockchain for all users to have the ability to create a landing page that reorganizes their Hive content into a columned magazine-style layout. The question is: What kind of features would you want in such an app?
Would you want the app to do any of the following?
- Provide a set of templates (one, two, and three columns)?
- Allow customization features (if so, which features)?
- Facilitate images as section headers?
- Name your own categories?
- Auto-select category names based on content tags, keywords, or communities?
- Include a posting field so that content can be categorized at the timestamp?
- Read content within the app or link to Hive account main page?
- Ability to choose color schemes?
- Authentication with Hive KeyChain?
- Anything else?
Of course, I am not making any promises that any of these suggestions will be implemented. I'm not a developer. I'm a writer playing around with Claude Code in hopes that I might create something useful. However, I am open to suggestions and would love to receive feedback from the people most likely to use the app.
Comment below and let me know what features you'd like to see. Also, feel free to share this post with others to encourage more feedback. I'd really like to know if this is a useful idea or just daydreaming.
