Over the years, plastic wastes have been a major canker of the world. The amount of plastic waste releases into the environment and oceans is quite unbearable.
We are living in a generation where education has become so common but still we are still bedeviled with challenges. We ask ourselves what knowledge are we gaining. Knowledge about money or wealth. Knowledge we canβt use to solve our own challenges.
My last post was about Mother Earth as a miracle. A time will come these waste will destroy our lands.
Today as an environmental advocator, I really liked the work a colleague teacher and his student did in school today.
We we talk no one cares, someone cares.
We are approaching Xmas and having innovative ideas in mind is something which is necessary for this festive season.
He and his student built a Christmas Tree using bottle water waste, which of course have been very popular on the streets of Ghana.
Wow, this is great, at least Turning these plastic waste into something useful.
At least, in as much as they are solving a challenge like this, they are also earning an income if done at a larger scale.
This is what defines someone as an innovator. Creating money around a challenge.
I believe when supported and push a little further, they will be doing massive things.
For once Iβm happy but there are still a lot of work to be done.
Plastic waste is an all inclusive fight and we must all get involved in addressing these issue wherever we are.
Thanks
