My photos this week are not among the best I have taken, but they are a memory of a time. When the town of Slave Lake, Alberta was caught in a forest fire and one third of the town burned, the musical community of Edmonton and the surrounding areas quickly pulled together a benefit concert in an old theatre to support the people evacuated from their homes. A full afternoon of music featured everyone from school age musicians making their first appearance on a big stage to seasoned veterans, with 100% of the proceeds going to the evacuees.
