I invite you to bring in your memory for a moment a beautiful moment, with some person, an animal or a place and can you imagine how beautiful the kingdom of heaven could be?, a place of peace, security, with no pain, can you imagine?
Thus saith the Lord GOD: I will take the bud of that lofty cedar, and plant it; I will cut a stalk from the main of its shoots, and I will plant it on the high and sublime mountain. 23 I will plant it on the high mountain of Israel, and it will raise branches and bear fruit, and it will become a magnificent cedar; and all birds of every kind will dwell under it; in the shade of its branches they will dwell. 24 And all the trees of the field will know that I, the LORD, have brought down the exalted tree, raised up the low tree, made the green tree dry up, and made the dry tree flourish. I the Lord have said it, and I will do it.
Ezekiel 17:22-24
We can have a close idea of what the kingdom of heaven will be like, the prophet Ezekiel gives us an image of what the kingdom of God could be like. In this case this kingdom is clearly represented by that tree at the top of the mountain, this tree has fruits and let's see the most important of all this: "And all the birds of every kind will live under it."
It is like a lighthouse that from above can illuminate the whole earth, so is his living word, it satisfies us and feeds us. And just like the birds, find rest and joy under the arms of the Lord being accepted without conditions or restrictions. There we can find that only place of rest and rejoicing of abundant love and mercy.
Can you imagine all this?, all the children of God gathered under the wings of God rejoicing in Him.
Te invito a que por un momento traigas en tu recuerdo un momento hermoso, con alguna persona, un animal o un lugar y ¿puedes imaginar lo hermoso que podría ser el reino de los cielos?, un lugar de paz, de seguridad, con ausencia de dolor, ¿Puedes imaginarte?.
Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Tomaré yo del cogollo de aquel alto cedro, y lo plantaré; del principal de sus renuevos cortaré un tallo, y lo plantaré sobre el monte alto y sublime. 23 En el monte alto de Israel lo plantaré, y alzará ramas, y dará fruto, y se hará magnífico cedro; y habitarán debajo de él todas las aves de toda especie; a la sombra de sus ramas habitarán. 24 Y sabrán todos los árboles del campo que yo Jehová abatí el árbol sublime, levanté el árbol bajo, hice secar el árbol verde, e hice reverdecer el árbol seco. Yo Jehová lo he dicho, y lo haré.
Ezequiel 17:22-24
Podemos tener una cercana idea de lo que será el reino de los cielos, el profeta Ezequiel nos da una imagen de cómo podría ser el reino de Dios. En este caso este reino está claramente representado por ese árbol en la sima de la montaña, este árbol tiene frutos y veamos lo mas importante de todo esto: "Y habitarán debajo de él todas las aves de toda especie".
Es como un faro que desde lo alto puede iluminar toda la tierra, así es su palabra viva, nos sacia y nos alimenta. Y así como las aves, encontrar el reposo y regocijo bajo los brazos del Señor siendo aceptos sin condiciones ni restricciones. Allí podemos encontrar ese único lugar de reposo y regocijo de abundante amor y misericordia.
¿Puedes imaginar todo esto?, todos los hijos de Dios reunidos bajo las alas de Dios regocijándonos en Él.
