In life we don't always get absolutely everything we seek, absolutely all our expectations are not met even if we believe that absolutely all our plans are perfectly aligned to the will of God, we can still suffer difficulties.
At one point in my life it happened to me that I felt alone, with fear and a strong feeling of abandonment by God, my internal dialogue told me that God was taking care of me but my feelings were totally contrary, thank you to the work of prayer and accompaniment by leaders, prayer and change of attitude on my part along with reading the word of God I was able to change the focus of all those feelings.
13 And blowing a breeze from the south, it seemed to them that they already had what they wanted, they weighed anchor and went along the coast of Crete. 14 But not long after, a hurricane-force wind called Euroclydon hit the ship. 15 And the ship being taken away, and not being able to put a bow to the wind, we abandoned ourselves to it and let ourselves be carried away. 16 And having run to the lee of a little island called Clauda, we were with difficulty able to pick up the skiff. 17 And once raised on board, they used reinforcements to gird the ship; and being afraid of hitting the Sirte, they lowered the sails and drifted. 18 But being fought by a furious storm, the next day they began to lighten, 19 and on the third day with our own hands we threw the tackle from the ship. 20 And with neither the sun nor the stars appearing for many days, and beset by no small storm, we had already lost all hope of being saved.
21 Then Paul, as it had been a long time since we had eaten, stood in their midst, and said: It would certainly have been expedient, O men, to have heard me, and not to set sail from Crete only to receive this injury and loss. 22 But now I exhort you to be of good cheer, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. 23 For this night the angel of the God whose I am and whom I serve has been with me, 24 saying: Fear not, Paul; you must appear before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all who sail with you. 25 Therefore, men, be of good cheer; because I trust in God that it will be as it has been told me. 26 Yet it is necessary that we hit some island.
Acts 27.13-26
In this picture we see that on Paul's trip to Rome he had suffered many threats, although we know that God was in command and control of his path, the violent storm took place, those who were there worried to save save their lives and the ship And this led to their hopes gradually being exhausted, while the apostle Paul was encouraged and in this way he was able to encourage the rest of the crew demonstrating his trust in the almighty God.
Every day we are prone to face difficulties and obstacles and not being able to overcome them can lead us to discourage, it is impossible to change what has already happened, whatever it is, to anyone. Those situations from the past that we cannot control are the ones that, if we do not manage well, lead us to become discouraged and lose faith and stumble.
For all this, just like the apostle Paul and many other heroes of the Bible, we have to change our perspective, stop looking and concentrate on what the word of God says, remove the focus from the circumstance and strongly fix our gaze on God in whom we have hope.
En la vida no siempre conseguimos absolutamente todos los que buscamos, no se cumplen absolutamente todas nuestras expectativas aún si creemos que absolutamente todo nuestros planes están alineados perfectamente a la voluntad de Dios, aún podemos sufrir dificultades.
En un momento de mi vida me sucedió que me sentía solo, con miedo y un sentimiento fuerte de abandono por parte de Dios, mi diálogo interno me decía que Dios se ocupaba de mí pero mis sentimientos eran totalmente contrarios, gracias al trabajo de oración y acompañamiento por parte de líderes, oración y cambio de actitud por mi parte junto con la lectura de la palabra de Dios pude cambiar el enfoque de todo esos sentimientos.
13 Y soplando una brisa del sur, pareciéndoles que ya tenían lo que deseaban, levaron anclas e iban costeando Creta. 14 Pero no mucho después dio contra la nave un viento huracanado llamado Euroclidón. 15 Y siendo arrebatada la nave, y no pudiendo poner proa al viento, nos abandonamos a él y nos dejamos llevar. 16 Y habiendo corrido a sotavento de una pequeña isla llamada Clauda, con dificultad pudimos recoger el esquife. 17 Y una vez subido a bordo, usaron de refuerzos para ceñir la nave; y teniendo temor de dar en la Sirte, arriaron las velas y quedaron a la deriva. 18 Pero siendo combatidos por una furiosa tempestad, al siguiente día empezaron a alijar, 19 y al tercer día con nuestras propias manos arrojamos los aparejos de la nave. 20 Y no apareciendo ni sol ni estrellas por muchos días, y acosados por una tempestad no pequeña, ya habíamos perdido toda esperanza de salvarnos.
21 Entonces Pablo, como hacía ya mucho que no comíamos, puesto en pie en medio de ellos, dijo: Habría sido por cierto conveniente, oh varones, haberme oído, y no zarpar de Creta tan solo para recibir este perjuicio y pérdida. 22 Pero ahora os exhorto a tener buen ánimo, pues no habrá ninguna pérdida de vida entre vosotros, sino solamente de la nave. 23 Porque esta noche ha estado conmigo el ángel del Dios de quien soy y a quien sirvo, 24 diciendo: Pablo, no temas; es necesario que comparezcas ante César; y he aquí, Dios te ha concedido todos los que navegan contigo. 25 Por tanto, oh varones, tened buen ánimo; porque yo confío en Dios que será así como se me ha dicho. 26 Con todo, es necesario que demos en alguna isla.
Hechos 27.13-26
En este cuadro vemos que en el viaje de Pablo hacia Roma había sufrido muchísimas amenazas, si bien sabemos que Dios estaba al mando y el control de su camino, la violenta tormenta tuvo lugar, los que estaban allí se preocuparon para salvar guardar sus vidas y el barco Y esto llevó a que poco a poco sus esperanzas fueran agotándose, mientras que el apóstol Pablo estaba animado y de esa manera pudo animar al resto de la tripulación demostrando su confianza en el Dios todo poderoso.
Todos los días estamos propenso a enfrentarnos a dificultades y obstáculos y no poder con ellos nos puede llevar a desanimar, es imposible cambiar lo que ya ha sucedido, sea lo que sea, a quien sea. Esas situaciones del pasado que no podemos controlar son las que si no gestionamos bien nos llevan a desanimarnos y perder la fe y tropezamos.
Para todo esto así como el apóstol Pablo y muchos otros héroes de la biblia tenemos que cambiar nuestra perspectiva, dejar de mirar y concentrarnos en lo que dice la palabra de Dios, quitar el foco de la circunstancia y fijar fuertemente nuestra mirada en Dios en quien tenemos las esperanzas.
