As I grow older, my birthdays become less significant to me. I have learned to appreciate every single day rather than just look forward to the holidays and birthdays like many children do. I figured out that you’re allowed to be enthusiastic about every moment and nobody can stop you from doing so. It is not that I do not care about my birthday, I just find it to be equal to every other day for the most part.
One thing that is much different about my birthday than other days is the fact that the people closest to me have a tendency to show their love for me by purchasing gifts for me. I have most of the things I want and need, so I imagine that I’m sort of difficult to buy for… especially since I insist upon not receiving gifts. I’m pretty sure it’s impossible for me to stop receiving gifts altogether. My parents and girlfriend 
Most human beings get immense joy by providing things for others. Sacrificing for yourself in order to better someone else just feels damn good. Sure, there are some selfish people who think otherwise, but for the most part I find that humans genuinely enjoy seeing others happy. This is most certainly true with
My girlfriend is such a lover. She does things for me that others would not even consider doing. Whether it be making me a bracelet, drawing me a picture, creating a cute video, baking brownies, or just giving me somebody to count on besides my parents.

This neon alien head light is absolutely stunning in person. I decided to place it in an empty space on the wall of my bathroom. It is the perfect nightlight for a room with no windows. The glow from the light continues into my living area, which is just such a cool vibe. The colors are exactly what I would have chosen myself. It even gives me the option of plugging into the wall outlet or relying on batteries, if I’m ever away from a power source.
These acid trip shorts are 100% my style. Similar colors to the alien light, perfect for me yet again. The material is super comfortable, the pockets are nice and deep, plus the drawstring tightens well to fit me ideally. They double as swim shorts too! Don’t let me fail to mention the fact that

I had been considering buying some more headbands from https://www.junkbrands.com/, but had yet to pull the trigger on the purchase. I bought my first two a few months back and love them! They keep sweat out of my eyes and are really stylish. I like wearing them to raves, where I normally dance all night. Recently I have also started going to the gym again, so these headbands are perfect for that as well. The designs that my girl picked are all awesome. A few different patterns with my favorite colors, plus a kick ass donut themed one.
This Roadhouse shirt featuring Patrick Swayze’s character Dalton is what I’ve been needing in my life. For those of you that don’t know, my actual name is just Dalton, not Daltono. Dalton was the main character in Roadhouse. I heard about the movie all of my life due to my name, but never actually watched it until this past summer. I was staying with

One last thing to close this blog out. Another photo from one of my birthdays very long ago. This one must have been in Kindergarten or 1st Grade. I’d estimate that I was turning 5 or 6 in the image below. The crazy thing is, I can vividly remember this birthday… hell, even that exact piñata swing. That was such a great day, one of my first birthdays that I can actually remember.
If this would have been a baseball, it would have certainly been a homerun. Instead it was a near invincible piñata that just didn’t want to break open.
