It is said that; "A man who is diligent in his work will stand before kings and not mere men." Everyone who has ever made it in history had one thing in common, diligence. They held dearly and accomplished all tasks that were before them with courage. Diligence is not all about service, but faithfulness, determination, and perseverance in the face of trials. No one uses someone who's lazy, not even the devil, and that's because they never show themselves approved for a task. Every duty in life requires diligent people to succeed, and so do habits. What differentiates people who made it to the top and those who never made it is diligence, what made one dig through until he found a purpose in life and one who remained dazed about his fate is diligence, what made one a true leader and another a follower is diligence. Diligence allows one to prioritize what's most important in life and that which is of less importance as they strive toward achieving their goals.
One characteristic of a diligent man is his ability to persevere, he never gives up, nor does he leave work he should do unaccomplished. God created a man and put him in the garden to cultivate, he expected that a man should be productive in every field that he is positioned. People of old understood the relevance of hard work, a slothful man is destined for starvation and his house is lacking.
People who were selected by king Nebuchadnezzar to serve him were men of diligence as one of the characteristics required. Slothfulness was disdained by the royal household and only men who understood time and what to do at a time stood before kings. Every man God or the devil uses are men who are hard working, men who persevere through hard times, and are courageous enough to accomplish tasks against all odds. Diligence is consistency, nothing wavers it, not even the tide of time. A man who's slothful sees danger in everything, he imagines a lion roaming the street to devour anyone who's out there, they enjoy comfort, and seek for a little sleep, here and there. A sloth never produces a productive result, but a diligent man works at his best to ensure a productive outcome in his endeavors. To be anything in life, diligence is one of the virtues required.
