Hello, Friday and y'all in the Hive :)
The day has once again arrived when we are to do our self-evaluation on how we fared on the 4th session of the 6-week Challenge intended to develop some great personal habits that hopefully will continue onward and beyond.
The break last week was very welcoming but also opened up a gap which led to a day of procrastination that stretched to more days on my part, especially on the physical activities. We even had some amusing exchange of comments with where she found herself mentally setting goals for the day to do nothing and succeeding at it, lol! No guilt feelings, it was a break after all!
My chart says it all. I managed to take a walk twice during the week which isn't bad at all and I know I could do better. And yes, I also fell short on the encouraging task but I have been encouraged constantly by others most especially who I now nominate as my very awesome encourager during the week. Many thanks and Salute to you :)
Yep, there are no golden stars for me this week but I am still thankful that despite my shortcomings, I was able to keep my main objectives on check and have actually added some to my blockchain goals.
Meanwhile, the flu is still nagging me today so more pills were added to the table. I have always been healthy, but I caught the bug on Monday afternoon right after coming back from my short walk. It was really windy that day so it might have been the cause. I was sneezing profusely plus some nasty coughing which alarmed the husband and had me joking I may have been infected with the invisible virus, lol! I was to take another route on Tuesday but cancelled on the last minute, courtesy of the good hubby who suggested I'd do it the next morning. Being a good listener and an obedient wife, I did so... lol! and partly because I was feeling not my best too.
And so this day is going and I won't be able to check the 25-minute activity off my chart and the other too. There is no excuse for this and I own it as me slacking off. But I am not throwing the towel yet and I resolve to do better the coming week. So... if you are like me who didn't do so well this time, don't feel bad 'coz this isn't the end of it :) We will come back kicking! Haha!
And don't forget! It's Hive PUD today! Let's do that too, yes?
Thank you, be well and sending you all some good cheers from up here. I'm sure the raging wind will carry it through to you, hehe!
