England have made into their 1st European Championship final after a late goal from Captain and Forward Harry Kane sees them edge spirited Denmark team 2-1 at the Wembley.
The English team who have been deluded from an International trophy for over 55 years are now one step closer after their late win against Denmark on Wednesday night.
Game started brightly with both team looking to go up but it was Denmark who first did after Mikkel Damsgaard breached the English watertight defense with the 1st direct free kick of the tournament in 30 minutes.
Prior to this game, England was yet to concede after going 5 matches with a clean sheet. The English team however responded before the break after an equalizer resulting from a Simon Kjaer own goal in 39th minutes.
Nothing was able to separate both sides before 90 minutes till a controversial penalty was awarded to England after a fall from Raheem Sterling. Harry Kane then went on to convert a rebounce after an initial save from Schmeichel.
The win sees England go very close to ending their long 55 years wait on men major trophy. But first they will have to stop unbeaten Italy in euro 2020 final which holds 8pm on Sunday July 11 at the Wembley.
