If the word 'TIRED' was a person, It definitely would be me right now.
For the past few days, I have felt unusually tired mentally and physically. I use to be one of those adults who grows older with
a spotless faces. However, I can't say that anymore because for about two weeks now, I have been struggling with what we call pimples.
I've been thinking about what may be trigging them to appear on my face. I had wondered if it was just hormonal change or stress from the exercise I have been doing lately. I have also consciously avoided touching my face with my hands while trying to find out the cause.
So far, I haven't been able to figure that out yet, however, I noticed two days ago that when I sweat profusely, the pimples usually become obvious and painful that I'm always tempted to pop them, but I know what can happen when I give in to that temptation, so I always resist it.
What about To-Do?
I've always known what a To-Do is but I've never really known how effective it can be even when one is under pressure because I've never practically used it until now. Having a to-do list keeps one energized and ready for the day to check out all that is on the to-do list.
On your to-do list, tasks are written all in one place and organized accordingly in a way that shows which needs to be treated with urgency and which can be left for later.
Priortize your tasks with a to-do
Speaking from experience, having a to-do list makes enormous tasks manageable. To be honest, it may not make the task easy but it would not make you feel less overwhelmed and exhausted with tasks. Your to-do list helps ensure that you're working on the right thing each day.
A to-do list helps relieve stress. In what ways?
I remember about a month ago when I started my job, I was always sweating profusely while working, and I'm not talking about a little sweat but a kind of sweat that can fill up a cup_____ Yeah! That was an exaggeration hehe, but I'm sure you get the drill😆
My mind would always be on all the tasks I had to do, because I know I needed to finish them soon before I am called for another task. Mind you, in between doing these tasks, I am always called from time to time either by the manager or director to attend to something else. These all things made me feel like the management isn't being considerate.
While all these things were going on, I thought to myself that I do not have the power to control how they call me to attend to other things even when I'm busy with my duties, so I thought about a solution. I realized that I only had control over how I handled the tasks. At that point, the idea of having a to-do list struck me.
For three days now, having my to-do list has made my work manageable even when I have to attend to other things, I also noticed that I don't sweat as much as I used to when I am doing my duties and that has reduced the appearance of the pimples on my face even though it's still there.
In summary, if you're looking for a way to manage your tasks and not be overwhelmed by them, move to a to-do list.
I will end this article with this and I know that you will agree; There is always this feeling of fulfillment when you have all the tasks on your to-do list checked off.
