Everything in extreme is harmful. Even more so when we talk about the health of the human body. A few days ago I found out thanks to my mother that she is always learning about medicine and is very aware that food is the healthiest and most nutritious for us in the family, that drinking very cold drinks after eating fried and hot meals is something harmful to our health, since I understood that cold drinks cause the fats consumed in food to “solidify” and settle on the walls of the digestive system, causing constipation.

Another very important reason not to drink cold drinks such as water, natural juices or soft drinks is that they affect digestion, because the body must heat cold drinks, and food, before digestion occurs, it reduces its rhythm by becoming substantially slower. It is a bad habit that we have a lot and that sometimes it is difficult for us to quit, many believe that having a cold drink is the only thing that quenches thirst. My father has this bad habit and drinking cold water for many years has affected his vocal cords, which is very sad since my father is a musician and singer.
