Sexual violence is not a present situation but a longtime calamity, We have been hearing issues concerning sexual violence not just around my country but around the world. I know the Government have been involved in this issue before and even now, but it seems to persist all over the world and around us. Before, I commence further i will like to enlighten us more on what sexual violence stands for most of us thin or have thought that sexual violence only refers to rape, Well the that is a wrong thought allow me to talk more about it.
Sexual violence could refer as unwanted sexual act through violence or coercion.

The one which gets the attention more is the Raping of your children or vulnerable ladies, This is so much that a tragedy happened last year 2nd of June 2020. A girl was raped was raped in a church and was murdered at that same spot and that issue was a trend in the whole of Nigeria and that made led to the women protesters coming out of the shadows because of this the Government had to forcefully order a search of those rapists. Because that was an innocent girl and that also touched the Leaders. They were actually caught and justice was served, but the protest and social media trends continued, even some countries joined in their own ways to support.
I like the fact that the trend continued so that other people who are into this sexual violence can be aware. I knew it got to them, but I know some underground sexual violence is still going because I was watching a story on YouTube last night of a girl crying and confessing her father at her 14years old her own father started sexually abusing her till she got too 16years and she had to say it out she couldn’t take it no more.
Now we can see that some of this sexual violence still persist, and rape please let us all join hands together and SAY NO TO RAPE AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE. If we join hands together to create more awareness and the Government and United Nations forms forces i am sure we can conquer.
