Insane! It's truly insane!
Have you ever encountered fraudsters?
Do you know how traumatized people become after falling victim to the perilous act of these fraudsters?
Thoughts of where this world is drifting to can be very scary. I thought we are supposed to get better but things are just getting worse. I can't help but wonder if we truly care about differentiating good from the bad. I do know that scamming isn't a new thing and l know that you must have seen someone that has been victimized by these fraudsters.
Well, I'm writing on this topic for my sake. I need to clear my head and remind myself that the process matters a lot in this wealth pursuit. If this ends up sounding like a rant, I may as well use rant as one of the tags.
Who are these fraudsters?
At the moment, many youngsters within my country have decided to be doing dubious things all in the name of making money. They step on people's toes and they are ready to sell their souls. A lot of us know these people. They live in our midst and they they have earned a name for themselves. A trendy name at that. Type "Yahoo boys" on your search engine, you will see what l mean.
They usually start as petty scammers by setting up fake profiles on places like Facebook, WhatsApp or Twitter. That's how they get to sell fake stories to unsuspecting people and get financial favours from them. At the moment, they work with a team of hackers to easily have access to people's bank details and e-wallet keys.
You know how the story ends! Premium tears!
It has been proved that most of them go further to do some fetish rituals so that they can easily scam people. It's too gross to even write down the type of bloody things they do to make money. Decapitated human parts are found in uncompleted buildings, bushes, churches and people's freezers. That's the height of their brutality.
They derive pleasure in giving people pain as far as it promises to add more digits to their net worth.
Why are we treating these shameless fraudsters like demigods?
Yeah, you read that right. We find it so easy to stigmatise HIV patients and rape victims, but these fraudsters are worshipped like gods by their followers and the society at large. Why? Because they blow $5000 on a round table and turn up to parties with flashy cars. They spend money as if they have money printing machine that runs round the clock.
Whenever these fraudsters show up in churches, parties or any gathering, they show off with the money they stole from people. Society in return hype them and inflate their ego with praises to get financial favours from them. Little wonder where these slangs came from;
Cut soap for me
Show me the way
Show me love
Check Twitter handles, you will see my countrymen (able-bodied adults), going on a bootlicking spree and shamelessly begging these known scammers/ritualists to show them how they play their game. The money game. Sadly, they know that these are fraudsters and con-artists but nobody cares.
After all, once you have the wealth, people will worship you. This is the height of our insanity.
Can we now speak ill of them?
For your information, speaking ill of these people will most likely expose you to some sort of abuse from people that wish to be them.
Unfortunately, this is the world we live in. Yahoo boys are applauded by people despite knowing that they get their wealth by doing inhumane things. Talk about ludicrous acts!
Do you know the
advantagesdisadvantages of getting involved with any of these?
Yeah. I know. I will remember all of them and forget nothing!
