He took away about 34 Billion Rupiah of the covid relief aid. If only that money really goes into the right hand, people might not be that resistant toward any government policies. Because the money is taken for his own gain, that makes people losing faith in the government and kind of a bit resistant toward the social distancing order.
He is being charged with 11 years of serving in jail for his crime. He also charges to return about 14 billion Rupiah back to the goverment. He is also about to lose his political right for 4 years. If only there is a death penalty for such a crime, that would be good and beneficial for most of us. But will the judge verdict be in the citizen favour, or they will just give a very light verdict way below what is being charged? only time will tell
