I haven't been in a face to face fist to fist fight since middle school. I won't talk about the times I almost got killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I had a gun pointed to my head only once and I was 17 years old. My idiot roommate said he wanted to check if it was loaded. I'm not real good with knives and they are not good to leave around the house in Korea. Our house was broken into every autumn by different burglars. Every time the burglar got scared he would pick a knife from the kitchen. They never use the front door. I came home and saw his leg out the window. I smiled and said, "Hello" in English. This freaked him out and he ran out the back window. I didn't want to catch him. I just wanted him gone. Since then we had construction and the house is safer. Also the neighborhood is a lot better now.

The new kid is in fifth grade. I will see her next week. There are 9 fifth grade classes. 9 sixth grade classes. 9 fourth grade classes and 9 third grade classes. They are in school half and half online. I'm teaching all the in school classes.

I'm in Seoul so it is 4pm. I'm making a video for my contract renewal evaluation or I would have made more posts. The two teachers who were on sick leave came back to the English department. I was glad to see them. The government is sponsoring a big project here for kids who need support. It is great for the kids. I'm working with some of the management and purchasing of materials.
