Life is such that, there are moments you'll feel so motivated and inspired, such that you could climb a tower with little or no difficulty, and there are other times you'll feel too lazy to even lift a finger.
Yet life's circumstances, responsibilities, and duties seem not to give a hoot about our feelings.
As an adult, whether you feel motivated or not, there are bills to be paid, you better get the work done inorder to foot those bills.
The bills isn't gonna say something like;
"hey guy/lady, I understand how you feel right now, so I've refused to pile up until you are in the right frame of mind to start working to have the fund to clear me".
No! There is no such thing.
The bills will keep piling up, whether you're in the right frame of mind or in the wrong frame of mind; if there's something.
As a student, heaven knows that millions of time, you wouldn't feel like reading, even when you do, it might not necessarily be your lecture books, but we all know that those lecture notes you might so much dislike at times is so much needed; that's if you want to graduate with good grades.
As a content creator, non will argue that creating contents consistently is needed for you to be recognized and properly valued as a valid content creator.
As a blogger on a platform like Hive, we all know that the secret of success on the platform, if there's any, is an open one. If we call the keys to succeeding here secrets, then the word 'open' should be used to qualify the secret, because it's obvious that consistent posting and engagements is what get the job done.
But there are times we don't feel like posting, even when do, our mind might seem blank. You can see an excellent writer who is regarded by many as reservoirs of knowledge and conduits of wisdom suddenly becoming bereft of ideas on what to pen down. Yet for us to grow on the platform something needs to posted.
That means that if we take our growth seriously, then we must as a matter of urgency procure a solution to this, our unstable nature. One time we are here, other times we are there.
Discipline has been pinpointed as the solution by many. That's to say that we must discipline ourselves to keep doing what we have to, irrespective of our feelings.
But I don't wanna toe that line. I rather want to give a lazier approach.
In life you only have to appear to be something, you don't have to be it. Humans rewards what looks like, because that's how far they can go. They cannot go beyond the senses. We take things for what we see, hear or feel about that thing
That's why we can easily be lied to. Just make it look like the truth and many will believe you.
You can appear to be hard working and thus reap the fruits of hard work when actually you're lazy.
Let me give you the hack.
You know those moments you feel so inspired to write? Write as much as you can, because that inspiration will not always be there.
When you can afford to write, prepare as many posts as possible. Don't waste the inspiration.
Prepare a bank of content against the rainy days. lol.
You don't have to post all those contents immediately, as far as you you have something else to post.
Have a reservoir of content, only use it when you're bereft of idea.
If you can maximize every moment of inspiration, you'll appear consistent, such that people will think that you're always disciplined and hard working. But no! that's not the case, you only made hays while the sun shone.
