Today, in Afghanistan, the female child was excluded from those resuming school. The male have resumed. I am not sure if there is any other nation in the world where the female child has no right to education other than in Afghanistan. Whatever must have brought about this should be trashed not the girl child as bait for political or religious bigotry.
Some years ago, I read a published article in an international journal about how the Iraqi women were liberated from the clutches of fanatism, having seen American female soldiers driving favored tanks, the Iraqi women protested liberation and right to build a career and become part of the policymaking process.

Taking a cue from what had happened to women in Africa, especially in northern Nigeria, I will like to posit that when a female child is educated, the nation is being established of solid grounds. When a game child is not considered for education, the rot of society begins.

•Decline in the rate of child marriage: Wouldn't refer to it as an aberration when a child who is meant to be in the four walls of a classroom betrothed to an adult male for marriage. Decrease in infant or child mortality rate: When a girl child is not in school, she is probably married to an older man to begin to bear children. It was recorded that many children from such girls died before they were born. When a girl child is in school, marriage may not be discussed with them, and there won't be a thing called infant mortality rate.
•National Economic Life Develops: when women are part of the planning and part takers in the running of the affair of a nation, you are sure to see development, massive development in the economic life of such a nation.
With the foregoing, Afghanistan is adding to the already high number of out of school girls around the whole world.
