Happy rainy day Hiveians. It's raining cats and dogs here. I have been indoors all day with the kids because the rains won't let our house. The cold, hot food and sweatshirts. I had to do all that to keep the kids warm.
When you come across the word nursing mothers, what comes to mind is breastfeeding. Nursing mothers do much more than breastfeeding their babies. In this post, I which to bring to the limelight some duties of mothers that fathers have also found themselves taking part in.
Some years ago, I read in the newspapers that the government of some nations is looking into issuing or granting Paternity Leave to men who wife give birth to newborn babies. Though that bill did not succeed. The argument for the place of men in bringing up or taking care of kids, toddlers, or infants cannot be said not to find water. Let's see the roles that men or fathers can take in nursing their kids without necessarily breastfeeding them. After all,
what a woman can do, I man can do better ðŸ¤
I understand fully that no matter what a father does to an infant, the place of breastfeeding cannot be watered down. As much as mem do not possess the mammalian gland, they provide the warmth the infant may need to survive.
Also, I agree that newborn babies are born with very low immunity which can be boosted by breast milk. Fathers place a high premium on ensuring that mothers do not resolve to other means of food for the infant due to laziness on the part of the mother (not all mothers though).
Traditionally, there are methods of bathing a newborn baby. Scientific proves to negate some of these bathing methods. Through learning, fathers around the world have been seen playing the role of bathing their babies. Proudly, many fathers want to be a part of the nursing of their kids too, I have done this task with joy and would do more.
Fatherhood comes with some great responsibilities. In our modern days, some school of thought has made some duties in the home to be the responsibility of the women|mother. That singular action has made men begin to feel like some home chores are the responsibility of women and have even led to chaos in most homes, or should I say enslavement of their wives in the bid of claiming they are men, the head of the home.
Feeding the baby with food other than breastfeeding can and is been undertaken by fathers. In some cases, the bond between father and child becomes very strong as a result of some of these actions.
The bond between father and child becomes stronger when the father carries the child in his back. That's also a traditional way of warming up the child.
Newborn babies usually soil their clothes and thus, there will be more clothes to wash. Where the machine washing is not available, as the father, you can do hand washing, it does not belittle you in any way, it only makes you a responsible father and support to your wife.

and hopes to be one in the nearest future, be proud to take part in nursing your babies, it isn't the role of women a lone to do that.
