Urbanization
Our Anisakham is a large neighborhood in Pyin Oo Lwin. Anisakham used to be a small town with no population, just fields and forests. Most of the roads are dirt roads. Now, things have completely changed. Anisakham is now a densely populated area with many modern buildings. What used to be fields and fields are now full of buildings. This is a good development. But on the other hand, there are still needs. For example, the road to our Anisakham Market is narrow and gets clogged with cars every day. This is because there is not enough space for parking in this market. Another annoying thing is that when it rains, Anisakham Market road overflows with water. As urban development continues, there are also needs to be repaired. In particular, garbage trucks are not working properly. This morning I went to the market and there was a street full of garbage. This is probably because of stray dogs roaming the streets. And this is also a negative result of garbage trucks not being able to operate regularly.
Lifestyle
As urban development increases, lifestyles also change. Although the city is beautiful with modern houses and buildings, people's relationships with each other are falling apart. And most of the locals are moving to the outskirts of the city and their relationships are falling apart. In addition, they are also suffering from thieves. When we were young, most of the houses here did not have fences. Everyone was together and helped each other. For example, if we didn't have oil to cook at home, we could ask our neighbors for help and borrow it. Now, when we have problems, we have to deal with them ourselves. There is less help. These are lifestyle changes due to urban development.
