I think Clickity Click Core is probably a Hive made game genre, then again I only play Minecraft so don't know what the kids are into these days.
Speaking of Core and clicking,
Terracore
As you can see from the image I have been playing it for about a month-ish, well I say play. You know what I mean.
I like my little strategy of high defense because what I noticed is that Damage is really just a roll of the dice so focusing on high damage does not make sense to me but defense just feels more tangible, albeit I guess if damage is purely luck based then my defense is security theater.
I don't have a botty running yet but at some point I will which is also why I have been keeping engineering quite low really, if I am going to push milking then I better damn well have optimal timing.
as it stands I need to sleep so I am fine with the 6 hours or so which will generate only 4.2 Scrap being lost since I make that and more back during the day anyhow manually.
I noticed a market appear though, and although one might off the bat think the items are priced nice I think some are taking the piss.
I also noticed the Defense and Attack ladder was removed and I don't know if this is to push people guessing pricing but I am pretty sure my next Attack will give me about +10 for 64 Scrap so I don't think we are at the point yet where buying single items makes any sense.
I don't know what you get in those crates but I guess betting a 100 Scrap on that is better than any single item purchase.
Unless you wear Levi and Prada, then fuck you.
However I like the game and although free-market is being a bit too free, likely they are American given their new societal standards , wink wink.
I think that things are pretty much all fair and square.
What I find interesting is definitely that bots are encouraged albeit at a entry fee, and if development is being done with that in mind it already makes for a better system. Ie the opposite of Hive that thinks something like "community" and "good will" will actually govern :P
All in all I don't mind clickity clicking in Terracore.
