As i told you about the Terrace Garden of My friend Sheela. Not not only has Beautiful Marigold to show but also have a surprise for all of you. She told me to share this flower with my Hive friends with more brief. So this is what she told me. This flower I'm sharing is the most important one. The name of the plant is Geranium. And most commonly it is known as "West Indian Jasmine" as it is look similar to Indian Jasmine but differ in colour as well as properties. Geranium has numerous use as mentioned in Indian Medicinal Text "Aayurveda".
The it's leaves, roots, it's fruits and stem all these things are used for the treatment of various diseases as mentioned in the "Ayurvedic Text" of the Indian traditional system of medicine. It's juice can cure the diseases like ulcers, dysentery as well as gonorrhoea and many more. This is an annual plant. This usually grown in temperate and cooler climates. As this is winter, it is the time of this flower to blossoming. I'm sharing some of the lovely pics of this amazing Shrub with you. Hope you liked it.
