Please Sir, May I Have Another

While exploring Kyoto last night I came across this crane begging for food right in the middle of the entertainment district.

The crane must be a regular to this cafe because I can't imagine it just randomly winding up in this busy area.

For reference, this is what the street and stream look like just a short distance away.

Yet, the crane was comfortable enough waiting for dinner amongst the humans.

Then it's wait paid off, the window opened and someone tossed out what looked like bread.

After the worker closed the window and walked away the crane stuck around. Seems it didn't get enough of what was offered. Please sir, may I have another?

For me though it was time to move on.
