Marriages are made in heaven
Sixteen years have passed since we married, I still remember the excitements of the day. Ours was a arranged marriage, which was finalized by our parents. That time, Love Marriage were a craze. But we were more inclined towards the tradition and today I can say with pride that, there is nothing wrong in arranged marriage. In fact I would say, in arranged marriage, you fall in love after the marriage. And it starts with low expectation, so the willingness to adjust with situations is more and that is a very key part of a successful marriage.
In a marriage, not everything is rosy. We have lot of responsibilities towards our own family and when a new member joins in a big joint family, she gets lot of attention and love initially, but later, she also has to take care of many things. And once we have kids, the difficulty level increases. But with all the family support, its distributed. And once kids grow up, again things gets better. Today the kids made cakes for us and celebrated. In this process, they learn the importance of family values, the togetherness and the commitment.
Corona has made us learn the value of family more - we all have been going through tough times - there are difficulties in earnings, restrictions to spending, many things are compromised. But we have got the best time to spend more time with family - to share the burdens - to cope up together and its a great asset to win over this difficult situation.
