The theme this time was WEATHER.
Photographing the weather is an interesting contest and for this contest I was reminded of a very windy day a few years ago.
Photographing the wind is not easy, but I will still try to participate in this contest with this theme.
I was on the beach of a town in north central Italy where there is a sandy shoreline, when at some point a very strong wind came up.
I remember that the wind carried sand from the beach onto the streets of the town.
Keeping your eyes open was difficult. The beach became populated with people with windsurfers in a very few minutes. Sportsmen who love the sea and the wind, for them this was an opportunity not to be missed.
The sea had invaded many meters of beach and the waves had a lot of energy.
The owners of the bathing establishments immediately rushed to close the umbrellas placed on the beach.
It was the first time I had seen the gray and yellow asphalt, the windblown sand gave the road lanes a different look. In some areas it was even difficult to tell the limit of the road because the sand invaded both the sidewalk and the lane traveled by cars making it impossible to tell where the road ended and the sidewalk began.
At one point the sea became populated with people who were also kitesurfing, and many curious people (I was among them) reached the beach to see this impromptu sporting spectacle.

Il tema di questa volta era WEATHER.
Fotografare il meteo è un contest interessante e per questo contest mi è venuto in mente una giornata molto ventosa di qualche anno fa.
Fotografare il vento non è facile, ma proverò ugualmente a partecipare a questo contest con questo tema.
Mi trovavo sulla spiaggia di un paese dell’Italia del centro nord dove c’è un litorale sabbioso, quando ad un certo punto si è alzato un vento molto forte.
Ricordo che il vento portò la sabbia dalla spiaggia sulle strade del paese.
Tenere gli occhi aperti era difficle. La spiaggia si popolò di persone con il windsurf in pochissimi minuti. Sportivi che amano il mare ed il vento, per loro questa era un’occasione da non perdere.
Il mare aveva invaso molti metri di spiaggia e le onde avevano molta energia.
I proprietari degli stabilimenti balneari sono accorsi subito a chiudere gli ombrelloni posizionati in spiaggia.
Era la prima volta che vedevo l'asfalto grigio e giallo, la sabbia trasportata dal vento donava alle corsie stradali un aspetto diverso. In alcune zone era anche difficile capire il limite della strada perchè la sabbia invadeva sia il marciapiede che la corsia percorsa dalle autovetture rendendo impossibile da capire dove finiva la strada ed iniziava il marciapiede.
Ad un certo punto il mare si è popolato di persone che facevano anche kitesurf e molti curiosi (c'ero anch'io in mezzo a loro) hanno raggiunto la spiaggia per vedere questo spettacolo sportivo improvvisato.
