Lets start with a quick disclaimer, this theory is one I do not hold as having a great deal of credibility. But the easily seen pattern of circumstantial events makes it a scary option to consider. There is very likely infiltrators within the US elite working on external agendas. But it will take a lot more hard evidence in order for me to so more than treat this as a curious intellectual exercise.
