The Blue arrow shows that the place have 2piece of screw, and the green arrow shows that there is screw below the battery. There will be total of 14 screws all together.
Now you can start with the 1st screw that will remove the DVD drive.
After you remove this screw, you can slowly remove the DVD drive by slowly sliding it out from its place.
If its stuck, you have to pull up a bit from the screen below so i will get some space top slide out.
Now you are done with the DVD removal. Now you continue to remove all the remaining screws.
Screw covered by the battery before.
This is all the screws, all have the same size and dimension, so no need to worry if the screws is swapped from its original place. It will fit just fine.
Now turn back the laptop upside down and open the screen.
You will need this to open the laptop cover from top. By sliding it from the edges of the cover, you will hear snapping sound when the cover is detached from its lock.
You need to start from here. Other place will be hard to make the cover detached. Now you just need to slide it from the edges to the end of the other edges.
After all the lock is detached, now flip it back carefully upside down.
You have to exactly remove the back cover from the left , as shown above. If its hard to open you can just push it a little harder to make it slide from its place.
This is the inside of the laptop.
Now you can proceed to remove the laptop hard drive.
Start by detaching the hard drive cable.
After you detached the cable, now you can remove the plastic and rubber cover from the hard drive.
We will need to put the new hard drive to this plastic rubber case soon.
This is the New Seagate 1TB hard drive that i used to replace the old hard drive.
After you put back the plastic rubber cover and attached back the cable, you can gently place the new hard drive back to its slot.
Photo above shows that the new hard drive already on its place while the old hard drive had been replaced.
Now the last step, you need to put back the cover, and before you put back all the screws, you need to make sure the cover is placed properly.
You need to press the cover until you hear a snapping sound. Now you can start to put all the screws back but remember the screw for the DVD drive is the last one you put. Remember don't forget to put back the rubber plate on its place.
Just slide in the DVD drive. Make sure it is placed properly.
Lastly, put back the screw for the DVD drive. Now You're done.
