Have you noticed how people can be put in their shells on a job interview? I was in my HODs office today when a man on a job search walked in.
He greeted everyone with so much humility and meekness including myself. I tell you I was amused and amazed at the same time. In my part of the country, elderly people wait for you to greet them first else they'll say you weren't brought up properly.
I was feeling good already, you know I had to make good use of such an opportunity while it lasted 😂. He didn't sit on any seat until he was asked to do so. You can imagine!
I watched in awe as I was admiring his homely etiquette. I already admired him and thought his woman was blessed to have him. I blessed the mother who gave birth to him and many more as I couldn't leave the office but waited and prayed to God to give him the job at least for his generosity.
People came in and out of the office and he kept greeting each and everyone without looking exhausted or pretensive. Some looked at him with awe and maybe must have had the same thoughts I had in mind. Who knows? Lol.
After all the scenarios he finally went into the interview room and that was the first time he was gonna meet the HOD. The moment she looked at him, she laughed out loud that everyone including myself wondered what was going on and we all thought that maybe he was a relative or long time friend but all hell had let loose he was an enemy I mean a serious one and I couldn't wait to hear the rest of the story.
she walked him out of her office without hesitation and he didn't waste a second but walked out hurriedly and I could read shame all over him.
Karma had found him, the HOD was so annoyed to meet the guy who almost slapped her when she mistakenly spilled coffee on his shirt as they were both trying to board the plane if not for the onlookers who had come to her rescue.
She explained further that she had even apologized a million times but the guy was furious. People came around due to the scene he had created asking him to calm down. It was just a spot the coffee had stained but he was at the vent of hitting the woman and losing control.
I really wondered how much he even bought the shirt that he could go miles to as wanting to hit a lady for just a coffee stain on his shirt or was it that the shirt couldn't be washed? I couldn't just get it and I was extremely disappointed.
His action was out of this world, it's scary and so much annoying. At least people should learn to keep their anger issues in their houses before walking out and whenever they get home, they can pick it up again and continue from where they stopped.
She sank into her chair as she was shocked how the world is a very small place and how the law of karma is real. The guy had actually compared her to his girlfriend. He had told her that if it were his girlfriend that was that clumsy, he would have beaten the clumsiness out of her even before she boarded the plane.

Honestly I was shocked. Trust me goosebumps were all over me. He walked in like someone who couldn't hurt an ant but then behind him was a wild beast. How would a man in his right senses wanna beat up a woman even when she's been remorseful about her actions.
This lady has a lot on her mind and maybe was over thinking before mistakenly spilling coffee on him but his arrogance had not allowed him to act like a gentleman. The office of a HOD is not a days job.
Unknowing to him that he'll meet her somewhere sometime again, it finally happened just as karma had planned it and this time he was at her mercy but the mercy seat had been turned around and the grace wasn't sufficient.
He just lost a job due to his bad actions which makes me believe the saying
What goes around comes around.
He'll forever have the memories in his head and maybe try to turn a new leaf or live with his arrogancy for the rest of his life.
Thanks for reading.
