Ousmane Dembele no longer
included in Barcelona transfer list
Barcelona no longer intends to sell Ousmane
Dembele this summer. Instead, the Blaugrana
will offer the Frenchman a new contract,
according to Sport.
Barcelona initially placed Dembele on their
transfer list before he travelled for the Euros.
However, the injury he suffered against
Hungary has put a spanner in Barca's plans to
sell him.
Barca know they will not find buyers for the
player this summer and have opted to offer him
a new deal, at lower wages, to avoid losing him
for free next summer.
The 2020/21 campaign was Dembele's second-
best in Barca colours. The 24-year-old played
as many as 44 games. He contributed 16 goals
for the club (11 goals, 5 assists).
