Warm greetings all. 🙏💚
This is my entry for Round 23 of the #POBPhotocontest, with the returning theme of flowers.
These photos were taken a bit less than two weeks ago on a walk through the Seaview neighborhood, where I've been living part time, at The Sanctuary of the Blue Dragon (the other part of the time I live in my off-grid, food-forest jungle intentional community). I take photos of the beauty and marvel that I see around me all the time now, and when I took these shots I didn't have any particular purpose in doing so other than because I found them quite striking.
This species is very common in my part of Hawai'i, both planted and naturalized (it can spread very quickly in this environment). It's a lovely species in any case, that seemed rather appropriate for this contest. I hope y'all enjoy!
👇This is my entry!👇 Clerodendrum quadriloculare, Philippine glorybower, growing in Seaview, Lower Puna, far East Hawai'i. Taken February 22, 2022.
Thank you all for sharing this bit of East Hawai'i beauty! 🙏 💚
