The word Responsibility has divers meanings which everyone interprets the best way that suites them or best to there understanding.

MEANING OF RESPONSIBILITY

• The state of having a duty to deal with or control over something or somebody.

As adults we have alot of responsibilities resting on our shoulders, be you male or female.
A man will always have to bother about being responsible, taking care or control of his business or academics, taking care of his parents of his parents , loved ones, his wife and so on.
This means that a man or every man out there is searching for means to put food on his families table, for which if he fails is no longer worthy of his role or title as a man (As many believes).

Now as a lady, you worry about making your parents proud , being a good wife should you wish to marry and have kids, be a super mother for your kids, take proper care of your husband's resources and yours too.

Generally we all as humans have burdens resting on our shoulders, alot people believe we are just here to make money , live life and enjoy. But we forgot we have own the Responsibility of taking care of our planet.

Pollution's everywhere, both in the air, sea and land.
We grew selfish to the point we don't deem our Responsibilities necessary.

Let's take an example of a kid.
You caught a kid doing something wrong, you as an adult know this is an inappropriate behaviour be someone of such age. But because that particular child is not yours, you decided to over and pretend it's non of your business.
There is a saying in pidgin English ( one person no dey train pikin ) one person alone does not train a child. So if a child does something wrong correct them, it's yohr Responsibility to do so.

"Alot of people abandon there Responsibility to take on other people's Responsibility"

• Did you know that a good number of people leave or rather say abandone there responsibilities completely to Carter for someone else responsibilty.
  Growing up my father would always buy things for kids outside, dash them money and even have to pay for there fees sometimes. Giving me pocket money from my early age till date is a big burden to him, he is someone that prefers doing something for people that are not related to him than his own kids.
  This often troubled me as a child till date, imagine asking your father for something you knew he had and he won't give it to you.

But anyways that didn't stop me , infact his acts made me a better person today. It always motivated me to never expect that someone or anyone owes me anything, yes i know everyone believes in this theory but reverse is the case when i am still under him because i haven't even gotten my first degree yet.

The experience grew so bad and became terrifying for me that i would often go to bed most times with teary eyes, asking God why i was created differently from other people?

My father often prefers getting praised from an outsider morethan his own fruit, trust me he values the little an outsider does for him morethan the great thing his own blood did for him.

Also there is another case of a man, i know him very well.
Infact he is my inlaw.

• The so called inlaw has 5 kids now, 4 of them are atleast 6 years old and the last one is just 2 months old. The wife gave birth 2 months ago on a Saturday night, he didn't visit them at the hospital till the wife came back on Sunday morning and he also came to visit his wife that Sunday morning she came because he doesn't stay with his wife.
  He claimed he is working and yet doesn't Carter for his family nor pay for the kids school fees.
  So back to my story, the wife bailed herself from the hospital and came back to the house only to meet the so called husband at home , she didnt quite started taking into account any wrong or grudges to the heart.
  Monday morning she asked the husband how are they going to foot the hospital bills? ( Unknowing to the husband that she has already done that )
  The man replied with : let me go and check on my debtors i am coming.
  Since that day till date, she haven't seen her husband he doesn't take calls , doesn't call back and never visited his wife and new born baby.
  Worst case scenario is that the wife isn't working, she is only a minister in a small church with very low number of members.
  Then how is she managing to feed herself, her kids, paying there tuition fees, books , uniform etc.?

All because she married a man that has abandoned his responsibilties of taking care of 5 kids he owns.
This case has become a common things amongst men, most men not all of them doesn't deserve a woman or anything regarding to responsibilty.
If you know you are not ready for responsibilties why taking up any? Why bringing kids to a cruel world only to allow them suffer, just because you are not man enough to look after your responsibilties?
This hurts me each time and think about it and gave me the drive to write about the word "RESPONSIBILITY" for there are alot people that does not know what it is and all about.

• Responsibilty means you must be selfless.
• It's means you must be prepared to put others she's of yourself.
• It means you must be ready to pay for your own sins.
• It means accepting your mistakes and willing to make up for it.
• It means thinking about others and not just yourself alone.
• It means all these above and alot more.

I don't know if people actually believe in karma but trust me it's no joke at all. What you is what you receive
No matter what you do either good or bad there is always a price to pay.

So today i encourage everyone go take responsibilty of themselves and people around them.
Be a good example to other.
