My Application To The Newbies Initiative

I got super excited when I found out about the start of a new Newbie Initiative from a post by Hive account@iskafan. @Samostically had initially told me about the initiative and how much it helped him when he re-joined Hive. I'm super pumped and I have been anticipating a new edition, now it's here, I am really excited.

My actual name is Deon, I joined Hive December Last year and it's been quite difficult finding my way. Honestly I barely have any clue on how to grow my account and that's one of the reasons I am so excited for this initiative.

It's a great thing Hive account@starstrings01 and the entire Newbie Initiative team (Hive account@newbies-hive, Hive account@projectmamabg, Hive account@aliento, Hive account@eddiespino and others) have done putting up such a wonderful Initiative. Helping newbies like me on the space find their way and understand the capabilities of the Hive Blockchain, is a true display of love and genuine interest towards inexperienced users and I really do appreciate it.

I am a lover of Life, Art, Chess ... This makes my content revolve around chess, life and productivity. But my interests are rather universal as I love to learn about different things and enjoy a wide variety of contents. I also make crypto contents from time to time as I have alot of interest to learn more and more about the crypto space.

REPUTATION & HIVE POWER

I currently have a reputation of 52 and 46HP.

One of my goals is getting to 70 by the end of 2022. I am sure joining this initiative will be a great move in the direction to achieving the goal. Ever since joining, I've done 100% Power Up and I believe I'll be able to achieve my goal of 500HP by the end of the year as well.

Another of my goal on Hive is to get to a point where I can add value to hive and to newbies because I see Hive as not only my future but a future for young people.

I really do want people to learn from the content I provide. I aim to introduce more people to the game of Chess as well.

Putting myself out there, meeting new people and making friends is one thing I always look forward to here on Hive. I believe this initiative would make that easier for me.

I am really excited to see the tasks that would be given during the course of the initiative.
