I went out to a shopping mall this afternoon, not for shopping, but just for walking around, so I will share something with you.
There is no rule of thumb to go to shopping malls only for shopping. When I have some free time, I go shopping with friends or alone. Don't go with the intention of buying something every day. I go around like this, then if I like something, I buy it and go home. It has been going on like this for the past eight years...
This afternoon I went out alone to a place near our nearest Barasat station. The name of the place is Chapadali Mor. There is a big shopping mall next to bus stand at Chapadali intersection. I used to come here a lot a few years ago but since another shopping mall bigger than this mall is new near our house, I come here less often.
Sometimes I go to that shopping mall near home so I thought I will go to this shopping mall today. I went out today and found the environment very nice. Now the heat has reduced a lot and the wind of winter is coming. However, after reaching there, I had a good look around the shopping mall. From clothing to food, nothing has been left out to visit today...
After these wanderings there is a place to sit and eat. I wanted to go there and eat something, but there is a new system, you can't eat directly by paying money. They have to load money on a specific card and then pay with that card. Due to such complicated rules, I have not eaten there.
After taking some photographs, we came back down. After coming down, we went to a few electronics shops to see some mobile phones. Go there and see some new mobile phones. My mobile is good enough but I just went to visit so I came to see.
After roaming more or less everywhere in the mall like this, came out. I spent about an hour and a half wandering around this shopping mall. I liked a few things today but the price was a bit high so I didn't buy any more. Around the month of December, all these things will be available on offer, so I thought I would go and buy them at that time. Thus, today I went to the shopping mall and returned home without buying anything.
