I'm not sure I'd be willing to participate on Hive unless I can share work of a certain interesting authors who are not active on Hive themselves. (Interesting thought: is quoting authors who are no longer alive allowed?) What's the alternative -- to share selfies and cat videos? Who would be interested in that? Content that matters is often produced by someone else, and I'm not here for self-promotion.

Furthermore, I've made a community/group dedicated to political philosophy of #LarkenRose, and I post his quotes and videos there. Can we not have fan-groups on Hive?

I agree that certain posting standards should be encouraged, but hivewatchers are overdoing policing in a bad way, punishing even citation with proper credit and no mis-attribution of authorship. I always give due credit, never misrepresenting someone else's content as my own.
