Hey everyone! The #FungiFriday challenge brings together us mushroom lovers again, as always here.
There are two species of mushrooms that I want to share here. For those of you who live in tropical countries, you are probably familiar with these mushrooms.
The first is the twig parachute (Collybiopsis ramealis), which grows in a small cluster.
I love the bioluminescent gills as if they make the mushroom come to life. The stems are finely hairy, with a reddish base. This kind of fungus grows a lot on damp twigs in the rainy season.
The next one is the black-stalked Marasmius (Tetrapyrgos nigripes). The cap and gills are milky white, and there is a kind of lump in the middle of the cap's surface. This fungus also grows on small, damp twigs, although sometimes it also grows on leaf litter.
The spot where these fungi are found is in a humid environment, so there is lots of fresh and beautiful green moss that fills the rotten wood and also the soil there. Mushrooms and moss are a beautiful combination.
