In the Bukit Rata valley, it's still all about mushrooms. If I shared bristly tropical cup mushrooms or Cookeina tricholoma on last week's #FungiFriday (An Exciting Trip to the Land of Mushrooms), I'll be sharing another mushroom catch here on this week's #FungiFriday.
A mature fairy inkcap
These are some fairy inkcap mushrooms (Coprinellus disseminatus) that were also found in the Bukit Rata valley's damp forests. Some of them are clusters of juvenile mushrooms, while one mature mushroom has blossomed and has a considerably higher stem than the juveniles.
Juvenile fairy inkcap
I'm not exaggerating when I say the Bukit Rata valley is a mushroom paradise since there are so many different kinds of mushrooms there. Other mushroom species will, of course, be featured on #FungiFriday next week.
Happy #FungiFriday! 😉
