Friends of #FungiFriday that I'm proud of wherever you are, I hope we are all always in good health and all affairs are smooth. In this post, I want to share two types of mushrooms that I found a few days ago while hunting for mushrooms on the outskirts of the swamp in Serbajaman Tunong village, Tanah Luas, Indonesia.
The mushroom that I mean in the first photo is Polyporus melanopus, a mushroom from the Polyporaceae family that I found growing on rotting logs. Because the place where it grows on a fairly large log, it is difficult for me to move the log when I want to take some photos. Then I decided to lift the mushroom to another place.
Then in the second photo is the Tricholomopsis mushroom, I found this mushroom growing on areca nut plants which some time ago had been cut down by the owner, so some of the areca palms there started to rot and several types of mushrooms grew.
As with the mushroom above, I also decided to lift the Tricholomopsis mushroom from where it grew to make it easier to take pictures. And here are some photos:
