This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by
Today is a very special FungiFriday because it is the last FungiFriday edition in 2023. And at the end of this year I want to share three interesting types of mushrooms, the first mushroom is the Pleurotus cornucopiae mushroom.
I found the Pleurotus cornucopiae mushroom growing on a coconut tree that was starting to rot, and this mushroom is an edible mushroom. I myself have taken this mushroom several times to cook with instant noodles.
Then the second fungus is part of the Coprinopsis atramentaria fungus, a fungus from the Psathyrellaceae family that I found growing on cocoa plants that had previously been cut down and were starting to rot. Interestingly, several flies were seen landing on this mushroom, and that was also the reason I chose to photograph this mushroom.
And finally there is a unique mushroom that I was unable to identify even though this is not the first time I have found this mushroom, but its uniqueness always attracts my attention so I chose to take some photos of it.
