Hi mushroom lover friends
This is my first experience joining the Fungi Friday community which was initiated by brother . Indonesia is a country that has a tropical climate and there are only 2 seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season.
At the end of the year, like in December, it rains continuously every day which makes the environment around our house very humid. What I like about weather like this is that there are lots of unique and beautiful shaped mushrooms that grow around our house.
This is the first mushroom I encountered today, we call it the Red Cup Mushroom in Indonesian. The term name is the Sarcoscypha Occidentalis fungus which grows on woody stems. The shape is like a glass leg which is red and slightly pink in color, but what is unique is that all over the body of the mushroom there are long hairs like very sharp spines, here are some photos I took of this mushroom.
Well, not far from the previous location I returned to find a mushroom that was no less beautiful, this mushroom grows on old coconuts that have long fallen from the tree, we call them Mini Umbrella Mushrooms in scientific language, Oudemansiella.
This mushroom is very small and grows close to each other, the color is pure white and shaped like an umbrella, what makes this mushroom even more beautiful is that there is a red dot in the middle of the umbrella, and from under the umbrella of this mushroom we can clearly see that there is a very sturdy spine. beautiful so it can make the umbrella of this mushroom bloom perfectly. Here are some photos I took of this mushroom.
This is my mushroom post for this Friday, see you in the next post.
