This is my contribution to the #FungiFriday challenge by
and is a mushroom post every Friday.
Hi Hello everyone, mushroom friends and also everyone involved in the #fungifriday community, good afternoon before evening everyone, we have high hopes for all of us, hopefully we will always be in good condition and carry out today's activities smoothly without feeling discouraged, keep your spirits up friends.
Well, as usual, this Friday I am back here to participate again in sharing posts about mushrooms in the #fungifriday challenge. I look forward to the weekend as much as I look forward to contributing here, which is one of my routine activities when Friday comes to write a post about mushrooms in the #fungifriday community.
All my friends, this time I will share several pictures of mushrooms with two different types of mushrooms. I did this mushroom hunting a few days ago when I went to or visited a garden where avocado trees were nursed, I intended to see the tree seeds and buy them. However, I also went around trying to look for mushrooms because this garden is a shady and damp area, the possibility of mushroom growth is also large. And I went around the garden looking for mushroom plants.
For further information, below I will first show pictures of the mushrooms that I have hunted and prepared for today. Here he is :
- Pleurotus ostreatus fungus
This fungus is a food fungus from the Basidiomycota group and belongs to the Homobasidiomycetes class with the general characteristics of a white to cream colored fruit body and a semicircular cap resembling an oyster shell with a slightly concave center.
Scientific classification of the Pleurotus ostreatus mushroom :
| Domain | Eukaryota | |
|---|---|---|
| Kingdom | Fungi | |
| Division | Basidiomycota | |
| Class | Agaricomycetes | |
| Ordo | Agaricales | |
| Family | Tricholomataceae | |
| Genus | Pleurotus | |
| Species | P. ostreatus |
- Lentinus squarrosulus fungus
Then this second type of fungus, namely Lentinus squarrosulus is a species of fungus from the Polyporaceae family. Before experts separated them into different individuals, this fungus was closely related to shiitake mushrooms. We can both consume both, and have important health benefits, according to Wikipedia in my search results regarding this mushroom.
Scientific classification of the Lentinus squarrosulus mushroom :
| Domain | Eukaryota | |
|---|---|---|
| Kingdom | Fungi | |
| Division | Basidiomycota | |
| Class | Agaricomycetes | |
| Ordo | Poliporale | |
| Family | Poliporaceae | |
| Genus | Lentinus | |
| Species | Lentinus squarrosulus |
