How are you on this auspicious Friday? I hope all of you are still in a state of being entertained...
This is one of my contributions to #FungiFriday by
.
On the occasion of this Friday, I again display some of the mushrooms that I encountered, this mushroom I was specifically looking for to present to friends in the #fungifriday community
This mushroom is often called type Podoscypha, This fungus grows mainly in tropical areas which have fertile soil populations, if we look at this mushroom, it is almost the same type Microporus. This mushroom has up to 35 different species
After I finished finding this type of mushroom, then I rushed to a different location so that I got the type of mushroom we used to call it, ear fungus, because it looks some kind of human ear
Ear fungus ( Auricularia auricula ) is a group of jelly fungi that belongs to the class Basidiomycota and has a unique jelly texture. [1] Fungi that fall into this class are generally macroscopic or easy to see with the naked eye. [2] The mycelium is insulated and can be divided into two types, namely: primary mycelium (mycelium whose cells are single-nucleated, generally derived from the development of basidiospores ) and secondary mycelium (mycelium whose constituent cells have two nuclei, this mycelium is the result of the conjugation of two primary mycelium or union of two basidiospores). [2] Auricularia auricula is commonly known as ear fungus.[3] This fungus is called ear fungus because the shape of the fruiting body is wide like a human ear (ear).
