Hello, these have been taken near my little cabin on the top of Monte Cimone last week, it's mainly lichens, I took some wood for the stove but couldn't see any real fungis.
It did rain the day before i went home so it's probably full of them now, anyways i have some quality pictures of trees, and i love trees, there's some lichens on rocks too, I kept the pictures for you, to remind the hive community that my blog is still alive 😅
The picture I prefer is the hanging tree, here in Italy we say that trees hold up entire mountains with their roots, you can see how in this picture.
Some lichens growing on abandoned benches were very romantic...
And then here are a bunch of different varieties al colors that i found on the trees trunks
This last detail is very peculiar, the rainbow reflective transparent sheet over the lichen is barely visible, but recalled to me the film Annihilation
And this last one was peculiar too because of its shape
