Tal como les mencioné en las últimas semanas, el clima ha sido determinante en los hallazgos que hemos tenido; las constantes lluvias, seguidas de climas cálidos, hicieron que ¨especies¨ :  como esta, que nunca hallamos, las encontremos en la reserva. Ha sido realmente emocionante dar con este ejemplar; si bien ya lo conocía, hasta hoy nunca vi uno en persona.

As I mentioned in recent weeks, the weather has been crucial to our discoveries; the constant rains, followed by warm weather, have allowed us to find ¨species¨ :  species like this one, which we had never found before, in the reserve. It has been truly exciting to find this specimen; although I was already familiar with it, until today I had never seen one in person.

Este es de esos ¨ejemplares¨ :  que pocas veces hemos encontrado, y las veces que lo hicimos disfrutamos estar en su presencia. Es increíble que hayamos tomado un sendero que pocas veces los tomamos porque nunca antes habíamos hallado un tipo de ¨hongo¨; feliz de que lo hayamos hecho

This is one of those "specimens" : that we have rarely found, and the times we have, we enjoy being in its presence. It's incredible that we took a path we rarely take because we'd never found this type of mushroom before; I'm so glad we did.

Esta es una ¨especie¨ :  realmente extraña, de apariencia muy similar a un "cerebro"; de hecho, algunos los llaman "hongo-cerebro". Es increíble cómo han sido estas últimas semanas aquí en la reserva; dimos con especies que nunca antes había visto.

This is a really strange ¨species¨ : , very similar in appearance to a "brain"; In fact, some people call them "brain mushrooms." It's incredible how these last few weeks have been here at the reserve; we've come across species I've never seen before.

Muy emocionado de haber llevado nuestra¨camara¨ : en nuestra caminata por la reserva; las especies de hongos que nunca vimos fueron realmente increíbles. La reserva cada vez que pasa el tiempo nos regala cosas maravillosas, y estamos felices de visitarla todas las semanas

So excited to have taken our camera on our hike through the reserve; the species of mushrooms we'd never seen before were truly incredible. The reserve keeps giving us wonderful things as time goes by, and we're happy to visit it every week.
