Hi all 👋🏻
My contribution to this #FungiFriday by will be some mushrooms and their friends, as she has a topic this time: “Fungi and friends“
I must say… I got a little bit creative with this post… maybe a very big bit 😉😎 hahahaha
The following photos are taken with my iPhone on 19 April 2022 in a private garden that opened its doors to a group of pensioners that I could join while we were visiting England for the last 2 weeks.
(No I’m not of that age yet, but family members were part of this group and we just joined in😊)
We just returned home from our trip last night very late ⏰ 🥱😴
The location of this garden was Kettering -Barton Seagrave UK 🇬🇧
That the owners opened their doors to their garden was part of NATIONAL GARDEN SCHEME where Gardens Open For Charity.
More information about it You can find in this website!
I so sooooo hoped 🤞🏻 while visiting England I would find “real” mushrooms/fungi… but I didn’t. 😕
I only found the mushrooms in this post 😉 and some other old died out fungi on trees. I might show you in another post.
In Spain (as some may know) where I live there are just none… and England… well we were too late to find some as they are not in season in April.
But let me not hold you in suspense any longer and show you now what I found in the garden and some beautiful corners of it 🥰
Taddaaaaa 😁 I found these wooden mushrooms in a little corner.
But you think where are the friends… well… if you look very closely, you find a snail. 🐌
I added the snail on my iPad via LightXpress, it is a program that lets you edit photographs.
The Snail is just a tiny detail of a larger painting I painted.
The title is "Here we go!" from 2014.
It is Gouache on mountboard - 20.5 × 26 cm
I will post this painting and its step by steps in due course 😉 as a new post.
I also found this one 🍄
If you look at the green leaf in front of this wooden mushroom you see a tiny little fly 🪰 so I think these 2 will do fine for the “Fungi and friends” topic 😇
In the next photograph the fly flew away 🪰
I have a few more photos from the first 3 wooden mushrooms, let me show you:
I think they are pretty cool. When I have a garden I will create some like this out of recycled wood 🪵 🍄🍄 as I so liked this idea.
Let me show you more of this garden and it’s creative corners and plants in it 😎
As you enter the garden on the right side of you, you find this cute corner.
Opposite you see the garden, it has little paths through the vegetation, plants and trees.
A bird feeder hangs above the grass, the shape is a leaf. I liked it a lot.
Some metal sculptures can be found.
A picture frame… it frames the garden nicely and makes it quirky.
Little details all around us.
A little pond with its friends… ducks, a heron some fish etc.
And with this last photo of these beautiful tulips 🌷 I end my selection “wooden” mushrooms and it’s friends for this #FungiFriday.
Thank you so much for looking, reading and supporting me. Hope you enjoyed my find and it’s creativity of it 🍄🍁🍄🍂🍄 and if you liked my post, an upvote or re-blog is always welcome 🙏🏻
Any questions or comments, let me know. Always happy to help.😊
Have a great #FungiFriday all 😎👋🏻
