While I really enjoy mushroom hunting in the streets of downtown, as we've recently found some very beautiful species, I have to admit that our searches in the reserve are truly fantastic. In this search we found a "specimen": that we couldn't find a couple of weeks ago. What I like about them are their striking colors and the many uses they have.

This week's search has been wonderful, as we rediscovered a classic; it's a "species":very well known in much of the world. These are highly sought-after mushrooms, both for being edible and for their various medicinal properties.

Finding this type of fungus took me by surprise; although it's a "specimen": that we had already encountered many times, the surprise lies in the number of them we saw together in the same place. While this is somewhat normal, since this is how this species behaves, here we generally find them more often alone, that is, together with others, but in much smaller quantities.

As always, my grandmother went to the reserve in the company of "phone" : "Mobile", which is what allowed us to take these beautiful shots. This has been another great week of mushroom hunting, and the quantity and variety we found confirms what I always say: the reserve never disappoints when it comes to mushroom hunting.
